         On the afternoon of October 6, Dr. Liang Shuncai, the 79-year-old institute founder and honorary chairman, came to the lecture hall 104 of Yucai Building and gave the first lecture of the "Pride Myself on Being a Veteran" to the teachers and students of Silicon Lake.

         From the poor life of his youth to the life creed of a Silicon Valley youth who earned 1 million before the age of 30 and then worked for his ideals, from the inspirational story of KFC founder Harlan Sanders who finally succeeded at the age of 65 to the French god of war Napoleon's tragic history of defeating Waterloo... He combined his own life experience and rich case stories to vividly tell the young people of Silicon Lake that in youth, it is necessary to build a positive attitude and devote great time to learning and struggle, so that youth will not leave regrets.

         Family affection, love, and friendship are the three most important emotions in life. How to understand family affection? Dr. Liang Shuncai believes that family affection is not just the relationship between relatives who are related by blood. In his view, patriotism is like a child's dependence on the mother, and it is also a kind of family affection.We have Chinese blood on our bodies, and we will always be Chinese. College students are in an important growth stage of making friends and falling in love. How should they treat love and friendship? He started from the current popular TV dating programs, in view of the popular phenomenon in the program, such as girl princess disease, pretending to be weak, told the students that the key to getting along with men and women is  understanding each other.          Dr. Liang Shuncai's "Pride on Being a Veteran" series of lectures totaled six sessions, and the next five sessions will be launched in this semester.
