             At 2:00 pm on October 4th, our school held a 2021 freshman military training mobilization meeting in the Southeast East Hall. The executive vice president of the school, Professor Zhang Qi, the secretary of the party committee, Professor Xu Hongjun, and Xie  Zhaoxun，Head of Academic Office，and deputy leaders of the department attended the meeting.

             The mobilization meeting kicked off with the solemn national anthem.

             The secretary of the party committee Xu Hongjun awarded the brigade flag to the military training brigade, and Lin Zhigang, the deputy director of the academic department, read out the military training establishment.

              Director Xie Zhaoxun delivered a military training mobilization speech. He pointed out that military training for college students is an important manifestation of the implementation of relevant national laws and regulations, and is the basic form for college students to receive national defense education while in school. And he put forward two requirements to all the freshmen participating in the training, one is to devote themselves to military training with full enthusiasm and a positive learning attitude; the other is to strictly demand themselves by military standards, obey orders and obey commands.

               Finally, instructor Tang Liliang, the commander of the 7th Battalion of Freshman, spoke on behalf of all the instructors, expressing his determination to earnestly perform the duties of an instructor, carry forward the spirit of not afraid of hardship and fatigue, set an example and set a good example for the students.  And he let everyone master certain military knowledge and skills, develop a resolute military style and noble moral sentiment.

              Chen Pengli from the 10th battalion of freshmen spoke on behalf of all freshmen. She firmly believes that through this military training, one will be less squeamish and more strong; and will definitely get a comprehensive baptism in thought, will, and character. The military training mobilization meeting came to an end amid the loud singing of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.

              It is reported that starting from October 4th, 2021 freshmen will be engaged in a 7-day military training, which mainly includes military skills training, housekeeping, military literacy course education, and campus environmental sanitation. It helps to enhance the national defense concept and labor awareness of college students, stimulate their patriotic enthusiasm, strengthen their organizational discipline, and enhance the freshman's self-management ability and innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.
